The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) successfully organized the first edition of the “Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamps.” This initiative, envisioned by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, aims to nurture the innovation, design, and entrepreneurial skills of student innovators and innovation ambassadors from higher education institutions. In the 1st Edition of this program, 25 bootcamps were organized across India in three phases by AICTE and MIC. We encourage all higher education institutions to motivate their students to participate in the IDE Bootcamp and to spread this information within the student community.

Innovation, Design

and Student (IDS) Bootcamp

Introduction

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC)successfully organized “Innovation, Design, and Student (IDS) Bootcamps”. This initiative, envisioned by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, aims to nurture the innovation, design, and entrepreneurial skills of student innovators and innovation ambassadors from higher education institutes and schools. Scheduled from 23rd September 2024 - 27th September 2024, the IDE Bootcamp Edition 2, Phase I will be conducted simultaneously across 10 locations in India.

Objective and Structure

The primary objective of the IDE Bootcamps is to equip participants with the necessary skills and mindset to thrive in today's dynamic business landscape. A total of around 5000 participants, including student innovators, faculty members, and teachers and J&K and Ladakh students (under PMSSS) have been trained during the boot camps. The program offered a 5-day immersive and action-packed experience focused on hands-on, experiential learning.
